I was in the architect program in Tunisia, following graduate work in Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.  I am now Professor Emeritus of Architecture and Kea Distinguished Professor at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in College Park, MD.

  1. Tunisia Kindergarten, Hammam-Zriba

    Taken in 1968, the photo shows opening day, waiting for President Habib Bourguiba, at a kindergarten I designed in Hammam-Zriba, a village near Zagouan.  Subsequently I became a professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Tunis, helping to establish the first professional degree program for architects in Tunisia.
