I will complete my service in March of 2011. For the past 2 years I have been working as a Community Based Organizational Development Volunteer in a rural village of the province of Sisaket. My projects include starting an organic fertilizer business at the local high school, teaching reading, opening a recycling center, starting a youth leadership initiative and helping the the local PHA (Persons Having AIDS) group start secondary income generation projects to be run out of their homes.

    On November 24th, my host father, Sub-Lieutenant Kusol Kongsri, passed away at the age of 74.
