Bio:
I worked as a teacher at a MCDE in the Nkhata Bay region. My students were fabulous--always making the best of rather harsh conditions. Malawi was a superb place to work and live. The volunteers with whom I served have become lasting friends. I am utterly grateful for my time as a PCV.

Nativity Scene at Chikangawa
Years later, no participant will claim this to be their idea. We wrote the character names on little pieces of paper (Jesus, Mary, wise man #1, angel #1, etc) placed the papers in a hat and drew rolls. Each of us was allotted 15 minutes or so to put together a costume before making this photo.
