Born and raised in the Wisconsin northwoods, attended UW-Madison, lived in New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Fredericksburg VA - Was a stage actor in NYC - Worked as marketing consultant in Sweden and Italy before joining Peace Corps in 1995.  Am now retired back in the Wisconsin northwoods!

    I was a student at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1960 when John F. Kennedy famously spoke to students at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The campaign was running late, and by the time his plane arrived in Ann Arbor it was 2:00 in the morning.
