Volunteer: Kevin Frasure
Bio:
I am a Youth Development Peace Corps volunteer in the Orange Walk District of Belize. I am stationed in Yo Creek Village working at a primary school with about 170 students. My primary project is working in a computer lab teaching information technology to teachers and students aged 7-14 years old. My main secondary project is coordinating chess events around the country and sharing the game of chess with students and teachers. Showing Belizeans the game of chess has increased grades and many other life skills that are taught through chess.
I am originally from Liberty Township, Ohio. I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO majoring in Sociology and Women's Studies.
