I was invited to be the 'padrino' (godfather) at the graduation ceremony at Oxlajuj Primary School, one of the 3 rural elementary schools I work at in the Guatemalan highlands doing a health education project. In the photo are the graduating preschoolers and 6th graders. Sadly, as the picture shows, many Guatemalan children drop out before making it even to 6th grade.
