I'm a current municipal development volunteer working in the municipality of Canilla within the department of El Quiche, Guatemala.  I'm 25 years old and from Durham, NC.  My work specifically focuses on women's groups and youth but I also work closely in developing our town's Mayan Council.  I studied International Relations and Global Health at Duke University and previously worked as a consultant for hospitals and health care systems.
